United Airlines Trip Report
For those wondering about United's service.
We got back Sat. night. On the outbound we flew Seattle-Chicago-Miami. We were on time to ORD and 25 minutes early into Miami and the service was excellent. On the return Fort Lauderdal-Chicago-Seattle both flights were 20 minutes early and the service was excellent. I didn't know what to expect with all the problems they are having but it was fine.

Recently emailed a general note of thanks to United after an early Feb. Las Vegas-San Francisco-Maui rt regarding quick and easy check-in at both LV and Kahului, timely departures and arrivals, in-plane comfort, and courtesy and helfpulness of both ticket counter and inflight personnel. Even the food - lunch out of SF and dinner after departing Kahului - was enjoyed. Plus, the unfortunate circumstance of a missing bag upon arrival at Kahului was handled in an expeditious and satisfactory manner. An overall good experience. Might United be on the right track in its climb out of bankruptcy?

I've flown United on 2 round trip flights since the bankrupcy filing and I am flying with United again on Sunday. Both trips were fine - friendly employees, on time service, even arrived early on one return trip. I expect the same level of service on Sunday.

Recently flew on United from Chicago to Singapore and returned from Hong Kong. We went business class, thought the food and service were very good. We had no complaints and didn't notice any change since they've filed for bankruptcy. I highly recommend the airline.

No complaints for my trip last week. I had a connection in Denver, but the connection was very tight and my plane was delayed so I missed the connection, but when I got to the UA customer service counter, they had already booked me on the next flight to my desitnation. No fuss, no muss. My luggage got on my new flight just fine.
