pillows and blankets
I learned on this forum that we will need to bring our own earbuds on USAirways, even though it's an international flight. Just occurred to me we might also need our own pillows and blankets. I have a travel pillow, but husband doesn't. Any info. appreciated.

Thanks qwovadis. I'll bring my neck pillow and Perry can use the airline pillow. Says he likes them just as much as a neck pillow. Just wanted to make sure pillows would be available and at no extra charge. We leave in 16 days and I'm trying to get all my travel ducks in a row. Thanks again.

US Airways doesn't give you headphones in coach complimentary on international?
I thought that all of the US airlines gave you headphones, pillow and blanket in coach? Delta is the only one for free wine and beer in coach.
But no headphones...thats really cheap!
Qwovadis-most airlines only provide ONE blanket and ONE pillow per person on international flights as there are no extras usually boarded due to space, weight, etc.

I don't usually bother with either a travel pillow or blanket. Many airlines now have adjustable headrests that enable you to pull the sides up to cradle your head, which stops the dreaded head bob/snap/flopover. Instead of a blanket, I pack a pashmina since I can use it later as a shawl or scarf.
That said, the Coolmax travel blanket from Travelsmith that I gave my stepmother is one of her favourite travel accessories. She loves it and uses it all the time.

frogoutofwater-Aren't pashminas great? They are now my favorite thing to buy on a trip for myself or gifts for friends. Weigh nothing, take up no space, can be crushed up in purse, bag, or luggage and no harm done.
