Philippine Airlines Business Class to Manila
Hi,
We may be headed to the Philippines in June. SFO to Manila is around $2500 for business on either a A340 or 747-400. One leg stops in Guam before Manila, the return leg is non-stop.
There is not much out there about Philippine Airlines business class. I couldn't find anything on seatguru and I could find only a few 3 to 4 year old pictures of both a 340 and 747 on flyertalk. The seats on the 340 looked better.
Can anyone give me some feedback and reviews on buisness on Philippine? I'd settle for anecdotal if there is no personal feedback.
Many thanks.
Bill

Never paid much attention to PR105 before, but yes, sometimes it stops at GUM, sometimes not, even if the schedule has the 50-minute GUM stop.
In the summer, it most likely will go non-stop; winter, when headwind is strong, most likely have to refuel. But it can go either way.
