MDW on Delta or ORD on American to LGA?

MDW on Delta or ORD on American to LGA?
Leaving on December for 3 nights in New York City. It is the same price on Delta from Midway or on American from O'Hare. Which one do I have the best chance of running smoothly or getting help if delayed. Thanks.

Do you need to check bags? Delta's are still free, I believe.

Midway was easy airport to get in and out for me.

The bigger issues for me would be flying nonstop, using the airport that's closer to home and avoiding a turbo prop or small jet.

The DL flights are on the Embraer E-170, large regional jets with 70 seats (including 6 FC) and 2-2 seating in coach.

It mostly depends on which Chicago area airport is easier for you to go to.

Thanks for your help - decided to go our of ORD - Delta aircraft seems on the small side.

You will likely have more alternative choices at ORD in case of delays, cancellations, equipment problems, etc

Delta's aircraft out of MDW is nothing but a commuter airline (ie Comair,ASA,etc.-not Delta equipment.)
