Lufthansa Business Class Lounge Question
I'm flying Lufthansa, LAX to Frankfurt, and then returning via Denver. Since neither LAX or DEN have Lufthansa lounges, which airline lounges am I entitled to use? Assume it would be the RCC, but would appreciate if someone could tell if I could use other Star Alliance lounge if close by.
Thanks for your information with this.

You can use *A lounges by showing your same day international business class ticket and bp. See:

There are two RCCs at DEN. Doubt there is a USAirways Club there.

At LAX, Lufthansa customers can use the Star Alliance lounge in the Bradley terminal (from which your flight will leave).
In FRA, you can use any of the LH Senator lounges or the UA RCC. The FRA Senator lounges can get a bit crowded, but they're still better than the UA lounges.

When I've flown through FRA on a business class ticket, I've only been allowed access to the Lufthansa Business lounges, not the Lufthansa Senator lounges. According to the LH website, the Senator lounges are for HON, Senator, Star Alliance first class, or Star Alliance Gold status (I've never tried to go in on status because I have two guests but am only allowed one). The LH staff will let you know at the door which club you can use.
I'm not a huge fan of the LH Business Lounges--I've usually found them very crowded. The last few times through there, I've used the RCC.

Check info on LAX lounges at Bradley terminal. On one of the websights I saw that it was under construction. It would be too hard to use Uniteds at LAX, its way over in another terminal.
I think LH uses the UA terminal in DEN, they have Red Carpet Clubs.

Here's the notice I received from CI:
Dear Members,
Effective from October 10th, 2006 to June 30th, 2007, all airlines' VIP lounges located at the Los Angeles International Airport - Tom Bradley International Terminal will be closed for reconstruction within the Los Angeles Department of Airport's VIP lounge reformation project.
To provide our guests with the highest quality service as possible during this reconstruction period, a special Dynasty Coupon* will be issued to eligible passengers and members (companying passengers of Emerald/Paragon members excluded. the VIP Lounge Usage Privilege will be suspended as well ) upon check-in. These coupons may be redeemed at duty-free shops and food courts located within the Tom Bradley International Terminal, as well as on board China Airlines operated flights upon purchase of in-flight duty free items. (Cigarettes and other tobacco items are excluded)
We apologize for any inconvenience caused during this period and your understanding will be highly appreciated.
Sincerely,
China Airlines
Not sure how other carriers are handling the closure.

There's a news release on http://www.lawa.org/lax/welcomeLAX.cfm regarding the temporary interim J and F lounges at Bradley. I don't know which carriers are planning to use the interim lounges. There was no mention of it the CI email, so I'm assuming they're not using them. I don't think there's enough capacity to accomodate all of the carriers that fly out of TBIT.

LAX Bradley Terminal sounds pretty dismal! Perhaps (not holding my breath!) the new lounge will be open by July 3.
Thanks to the posters for answering my query. I'll check out BA in Denver on my return.
