JFK Transfer

We are flying back to the UK via JFK. We will be flying into Terminal 2 and out from Terminal 4. What is the easiest way of getting between terminals?

Those terminals are at opposite ends of the airport - take the "free" AirTrain. Go here for details: http://www.jfk-airport.net/airtrain.html

Yep - AirTrain is the way to go. The terminals at JFK aren't connected like they are at SFO.

It's an easy transfer.

Not if you're taking Delta for both flights. In that case, you take Delta's shuttle bus:

What airlines? That would determine whether to take AirTrain or the shuttle bus, as to get to AirTrain you have to leave the secure gate area, then go back through security at T4.

AA goes into Terminal 8, not 2. You'll be taking the AirTrain over to T4 and reclear security there.
