This is Billt responding, if I could I would always avoid United as the service or should I say lack thereof is pathetic. Most of the attendants are card carrying members of AARP and frankly they just don't serve. Look at the Asian airlines and the difference in service is huge and no doubt why these airlines always rank way ahead of United in the service delivery department.

Korean Air- 1 small bottle of water in coach, but got a sinus headache a couple hours in DFW-Seoul (connecting to Hanoi) asked for water- I got 1/2 a small paper cup, downed it, asked for another "No"
Parents were flying in business, went to ask them for water- FA initially refused as it was for me, but then Mom said it was for her and Voila! Water...

On my return SGN-Seoul-DFW, I stocked up on water in HCMC airport- took it all before I got on the flight Unopened!!

Did the same thing in Seoul, but learned my lesson- hid the bottles in the small of my back between my backpack and myself- success!

But will never fly them again.

Rkkwan-Your posts are always good ones, helpful, realistic expectations, often positive. So when I saw your topic heading "I will never fly again with this airline..." I was definitely curious. Began reading and realized the nature of the post, and immediately started laughing. Some complaints are so funny, petty, interesting, amazing. Thanks for getting my day started with humor.

I swore I'd never fly with Tigerair again after a particularly scary landing at Melbourne airport. On the day there were very strong crosswinds, the plane wobbled and lurched on approach, hit the runway at 45 degrees left, bounced, hit again at 45 degrees right, and screached to the end of the runway. People were screaming, crying, praying, and vomiting. We were deplaned on the tarmac as the temperature peaked at a record 46 C, I thought my sunglasses were going to melt onto my face.

This was the day that Victoria experienced a tragic bushfire that claimed 87 lives, and several thousand properties.

In hindsight, the pilots did a good job of getting us safely on the ground.

It took a few years, but I've returned to Tigerair.
