Flying AA 777 Chicago to London

Anyone know if that aircraft has wing type headrests? Had them once on some aircraft, but can't recall just which one. Thanks.

Thanks AAFrequentFlyer-- checked out the site--saw the headrests. Not the ones I was hoping for, but looks comfortable enough. Maybe it was Delta.
Thanks.

AA's same as Continental, and what type are you looking for? These all have the wings, and they slide up and down.

Don't forget, $5 for each beer and wine with AA.

rkkwan--the ones I had seemed more wide across the top of the seat and the tips on both sides of the head rests tilted inward to help cradle you head.
Make sense? They had some sort of spring hinge, I think. If that is what AA has, that's great. The ones I saw on the website didn't appear to me to be the same, but I could be mistaken--of course, for the Very First time! Thanks. Judy

wally34949--Cheers!

Check out this photo I took after a Continental flight. It's the same type as the one on AA's website. Look at the various "wing" positions. [The whole headrest can also slide up, but few people use it that way.]

The headrest on the first photo (AA from AAFrequentFlyer) DOES have wingtips - you can pull the sides toward your ears. It's 6-way adjustable!

I have been on AA 777's and they do have wingtips (indoors and outdoors ).

rwkwan's seats have wingtips too but AA's looks more comfy.

Ah hah! Now I see the wing tips on the AA site are shown in the inward tilt position. Nice to see the headrests have improved. Maybe I won't need to use my neck pillow as much on long flights.

Obviously I don't fly so much. How long have these
types of head rests been out--or have they always been like this and I just hadn't noticed?

You Fodorwonders always come up with the right anwers!

Thanks.

I don't know about AA, but on CO, they start to come along at least 9 years ago.
