Not only are there no non-stop flights, I can't even find a one-stop flight for YEG-EZE.

Only airline I can find that flies to both YEG and EZE is United with the routing YEG-ORD-IAD-EZE.

You will need at least 1 if not 2 connections to get back to Buenos Aires from Edmonton.

Just about all the major US based airlines fly to Buenos Aires. Aerolineas Argentinas and LAN airlines are also a possibility.

I don't think AirCanada flies to Buenos Aires but if they do that may be your best option, depending on the fare of course.

If you just need 1 way ticket, you may be better of buying the ticket through the cruise company.

Good luck and have a great trip!

Air Canada flies daily from Toronto to BsAs via Santiago. If your cruise is one that goes around to Valparaiso, the AC flight back to YYZ is nonstop.

Meant to add, there are plenty of connections from YYZ to/from Edmonton. I would try to avoid a connection in the USA if possible.

I believe your best option is AirCanada.

AirCanada Edmonton to Toronto, connect with with another AirCanada to Buenos Aires with 1 stop in Santiago, Chile. It's only a stop, so you don't have to change planes in Santiago.

I checked one way fares and it didn't seem too bad.

My wife and I flew Air Canada, Edmonton/Toronto then connected to Santiago. We did not have to stop in the US.

From Santiago we then connected Lan Chile to Punta Arenas. We then toured north to Santiago and went into Argentina.

Return was Buenos Aires/Santiago/Toronto/Edmonton.

Air Canada is not my first choice but stopping in Los Angeles or the US for that matter is even lower on my choice list.

The return trip was tiring as it took a long time, made worse with the stops but what else can one do?

The short answer, Air Canada Edmonton/Buenos Aires? Yes.
