Enough time to make connection in MIA?
I have booked a flight aboard AA that departs IAH at 6:00am and lands at MIA at 9:36. My next AA flight to SXM departs at 10:36. My wife and I are celebrating our 25th and I am hoping for no big problems. I assume this is doable as AA booked the flight?

A 1 hour connection between two AA flights at MIA is very doable assuming your inbound flight arrives on or near schedule. The terminals serviced by AA are all connected by corridors inside the secure area and if you happen to land at the far end of one of the terminals and your departure gate is at the opposite end you can take the Skytrain which is also inside the secure area and takes only a few minutes to traverse the entire length of the terminal.

^^^ ditto that. Plus -- assuming both flights are on one booking, even if you do land late and miss the connection, AA will put you on the next available flight.
(If by any chance, you have mobility issues you can request wheelchair or motorized cart service to move you gate to gate)
