I've flown DET - AMS on this aircraft in both coach and business. Food, service and cabin were all good in business - definitely beats coach. Amenities were pretty standard of a US based carrier.
In coach I was impressed with all the in seat movie and music choices.

I have flown this route in the new Airbus 330 twice in business class. The seats are great. You can lie nearly flat, and they wrap around so you have a feeling of more privacy. Seatguru.com will suggest some seats over others, but I think that is a matter of personal choice. I don't care about the front seats, and I prefer those along the side to those in the middle, but I'm sure that is personal preference. The food in Business is not quite as good as it used to be (I am a picky eater), but it certainly is plentiful. Each seat has its TV with a wide selection of programs. The amenities are the usual, ear plugs, toothbrush and paste, socks, etc.--nothing special. A variety of newspapers are available.
Bon voyage! Boots
