I'd like to fly to Buenos Aires from Miami next April via Copa, but I am a little leary based on what I'd read in terms of this airline's on time record as well as the services rendered by the personnel.
I want to fly business class! Help, por favor!

Well, for Miami to Buenos Aires, then Copa will lag much of the competition. If you fly AA or CO, for example, it will be a true international business class service, with the big seats, more food, better drink, and all the electronic bells and whistles.
Copa will be much more akin to a domestic first class level of service. But I have read generally positive things about them, as long as you remember what you are getting.

One reason to fly COPA is if you're an elite Onepass member (hopefully Plat, at least Gold) and is flying on a coach ticket. On COPA, Onepass elites can get upgraded to FC, as they're treated the same way as domestic CO flights.
But like travelgourmet says, if you're paying for business class, definitely fly AA, CO or others with true international business service.

Thanks for the salient advice. I still have to finalize my plans-- procuring an airlilne ticket is the first thing; the rest of the necessities for my 10 to 12 day trip will just fall in place since I've traveled to BsAs previously but in coach!

We flew Copa from JFK to SJO last year and loved it. The plane was new. The FAs were pleasant. The liquor was free and they actually poured from bottles. The food was decent. It was the best flying experience we had had in awhile.

A bit of both for me pretty bad for Delays
Careless clueless staff in Colombia(AeroRepublica)
International better but they are noted
for bumping econo fares without notice.
But not bad lots better than Avianca.

Anybody have any thing more or new to add to this. My TA is having a great deal of difficulty trying to get info via phone...so is cautious about booking me.
I want to fly LAX thru Panama to Rio...and will book Biz class.
How do they compare to lets say Southwest?
Will I be ok? Get fed? Arrive w/ my luggage?
Thanks....
