If you fly in one ticket no. Your luggage will follow and stay in transit.
Besides it is your airline company's problem.
If you have 2 tickets you will not make it.
You have to deplane get your luggage and réembark.
Too short.
well you may luck it. But don't count on it.

The number of tickets does not matter. I had separate tickets/separate bookings all on AF/KL connecting thru CDG earlier this year and it made no difference at all to how the connecting flights/luggage were treated. However, getting from one part of Terminal 2 to the other (Schengen to non Schengen) was a nightmare on the day we travelled, with lines taking an hour or more to get thru passport control. Which terminals are your flights arriving and departing at CDG?

As we have mentioned on your other thread . . . CDG can be a very difficult airport at the best of times and horrible at the worst of times.
I personally would not book a one hour connection to a transatlantic flight. You might make it fine but would likely be very stressed/rushed. And while they will put you on the next available flight, that might not be until the next day or even later.
I would be happier connecting through almost anywhere

One hour is quite tight for transiting CDG (I suppose it's 2F to 2E), but it is doable. My husband flies to BOS via CDG now and then (all flights with AF) and the connection on the way back is exactly one hour. He needs to run but he's had no problems. He has Sky Priority.
If the flight from Vienna is in the afternoon I'd be more concerned than if it was in the morning.
