Hawaii is pretty strict with agricultural stuff, but ground coffee is okay. Green coffee beans are not:

Thanks to everyone who wrote in. We are renting a condo for 9 days and love my Folgers in the morning! I know I can buy coffee in Maui but I have 2 cans right here at home and plenty of room in my carry on. I know I sound cheap but this is partly how I can afford to go to Maui for the second time this year!
