Best airfare DC - Geneva?

Daughter's 18th birthday present. Unlimited love but limited funds. Anything like Ryan Air -- which doesn't do Geneva -- out of London or other major city? Many thanks. Dad RT

easyjet flies from many cities to GVA. Including from Paris Orly, London Gatwick and Stansted, Amsterdam, Brussels, etc.

You can get nonstops on United from IAD to GVA for $806 all-in roundtrip, depart by May 15. Add $400 to $500 after that date.

Thank you, and smacking forehead for not including date: end of March. RT

Even if the nonstop out of IAD is a bit more money, it is definitely worth it IMHO. You save stress and time.

End of March is just around the corner, so expect fares, whether nonstop or with connection, to be fairly high.

Anyway, the lowest one I found was ~$968 with 1 connection through London.

Good Luck!

Continental is advertising a sale for flights to Europe that encompasses March, but seats are limited and fares very widely depending on the date of your flight. Take a look at their website and the ad on the opening page.
