Baggage wrapping at DFW?

Does anyone know if there's a plastic-wrapping service anywhere at DFW? AA just changed the rules on strollers - I can no longer gate-check DD's stroller, and I don't have a travel case for it. It will never survive intact without some sort of protection, and I am thinking a plastic-wrap might do the trick. So far, all my searching has only found that this is avail at MIA. Thanks!

You can try heavy duty trash bags & duct tape.

flyertalk.com might have better info but

mainly have seen it used for international flights

by Japanese tourists more for security than structure

have not seen it in DFW

Doubt a stroller would fit in the machine anyway...

insuremytrip.com covers luggage damage best for me

Cheaper too... duct tape might help keep it stable though

IF they were to have this service at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport, seems like it'd be at Terminal D, from where the International flights depart. Have you tried calling airport w/ your inquiry. Guest services no. (972) 574-8887.

Or perhaps AA? Although that could end up being an exercise in frustration. If you do call American, might try using the Gold Desk AA no. -- (800) 848-4653.

Follow-up, we did not find any baggage wrapping at DFW, BUT for less than $10, we found a roll of stretch wrap at Walmart (in the stationery and office supply section, where they have shipping and mailing supplies), it was perfect, did the job and the jogging stroller survived DFW-LHR clean, dry and in one piece! Cheapest insurance I've ever bought. Here's to DIY!
