Air France FF tickets

I am looking for 2 business class tickets SEA/FCO in October. In the past I was able to get tickets for 90,000 miles each. An airline employee looked up the load and said there were 7 open seats for
October 14th but Delta said there
were not any seats. HELP

You need to phone Delta (I assume that's who your miles are with) and ask about partner availability as well as availability on their own aircraft.

You might be able to use their partners, e.g. Northwest to Amsterdam then KLM to Rome, or Air France to Paris and then Rome, or Delta connecting to Alitalia some place, etc.

Just checking, but there appears to be quite a lot of business class availability on Northwest from Seattle to Amsterdam on several dates in early - mid October. You could ask Delta specifically about that alternative.

Were you looking for 2 business class seats on AF49? If so, I don't see any award availability on that flight for Oct 14. Are you sure that person was looking at the right inventory? If you're using DL Skymiles, business awards on AF book into O. I believe Flying Blue elites are able to book into E.

You can use the NW website to look up award inventory on AF (as well as other partners). If it's available to NW Worldperks members, it'll be available to DL Skymiles members. Then call DL to book.

And if you end up taking any NW or CO transatlantic flights, it'll cost you 100,000 miles per ticket (assuming you're using Skymiles).

Yes, I was trying for October 14. I guess I am spoiled. I used to have no trouble geting two Business class tickets from LAX/GVA for 90,00 each. This is spur of the
moment, so I guess I am out of luck.
