Air France/CDG

Hi folks, I'm counting down to our departure on the 20th to Norway. We'll be flying Boston to Paris and then onto Oslo.
Can we expect complimentary coctails on Air France in coach??!! So stop laughing already!! Second question is for your suggestions at CDG for a 4 hour stopover. Anyone have a favorite restaurant at the airport or shopping?

Thanks for the information.....I'll report back with a trip report in early Sept.

Air France wouldn't have it any other way; unless you are on a code-share with Delta. Then it will be $5 for each drink.

Delta doesn't fly BOS-CDG.

Well now I'm confused as my Air France Bos-CDG-Osl seems to be a Delta code share. So that means no free booze?? I have a Delta Confirmation no. I used Delta FF miles but was booked on Air France on my departure but Delta on my return.

If you are on a Delta plane going across the Atlantic, get out those $5 bills (or 5 Euros).

If you are on an Air France plane going across the Atlantic, enjoy the drinks.

Do you fly directly from Boston to CDG or do you change planes at JFK or Atlanta? Or, what type of aircraft are they using. That will help.

From what I can see, it's an Air France flight nonstop Bos CDG. So from your explanation I think I'll be enjoying some French Bordeaux on Air France. Merci. What about our 4 hour layover in CDG, any suggestions?

Either AF or DL, you'll be arriving and probably departing to/from Terminal 2 at CDG.
I'm sorry to say but I find dining options at CDG are mediocre, mainly fast food restaurants. They must be managed by the same airport catering companies that serve any big airports. Having said that, you can get good strong coffee and PAUL has great baked goods--my favourites are pain aux raisins and apple lattice.
I don't recall doing much shopping either, but it could be because I've done my shopping in central Paris.

At CDG, you can get a decent meal at the Brasserie Flo restaurant in Term 2F. Maybe not quite the same atmosphere as the well-known BF on the Right Bank, but darn good for airport fare.

rizzutto,
Is it on land-side or air-side? Would love to try, though I seem to be condemmed to 2ABCD rather than 2F...

2F is a short walk from 2ABCD.

What about restaurants at the Sheraton?
