AAFF has probably had better days
Heard on the news last night that American Airlines will stop announcing on domestic flights that "you need to use the toilet in your ticketed cabin." What are these poor flight attendants to do with all of their extra time? Perhaps they could just say, "What can I do to help make your flight more enjoyable."
But seriously, if someone near the front of coach needs to use the toilet and the beverage cart is in the middle of the plane on an MD-80 plane, wouldn't this be easier. BTW, how does JetBlue handle using the toilet in the front of the plane? Only the first 10 rows?
Since the cockpit is locked now, I really don't see a problem.

Well, I don't know for certain but the news story link says that AA was the only airline to apply this rule "domestically". Odd, since all my flying is on UA, and they always give the same song and dance.
I completely agree that it's a rule whose time has "expired".

I can answer the jetBlue question two ways:
1) On jetBlue it is all first class so anyone can use any restroom.
2) On jetBlue it is more democratic and anyone can use any restroom.
Am not sure what you mean about UA. They don't seem to stop people from coming up front a lot of the time. I wish they would do it all of the time.

I really don't care....who uses what toilet.
I have my headphones on either watching a movie or listening to Marilyn Manson.
When I want to use the toilet, I just get up, regardless if the seat belt sign is on/off.
Simple, really.....
