Hey CC.. thanks for all your comments and answering all my questions. Oh yeah - I will take a picture so my friend can see what BFE really is !..
The reason we are staying there is because it was in a trip for $1300 from New York, 3 nights at BFE ( the Hilton), and 3 nights on a Nile Cruise.. I always wanted to go to Egypt and I thought this was a good deal.
Any chance you would look at our offered tours and tell me if they are a good price ?
thanks for letting me pick your brain.

I'm sure your package is a fine deal. If you subtract $700 for the airfare, that leaves $600 for everything else, and it seems you are getting quite a bit for $600. That comes to about $100 a day, right? If your meals, tickets, transport and hotels are all included, that is not expensive.
Have a good time.

When you are using the ATM you'll want to check the network the ATM belongs to. I had several machines in Cairo (everywhere else was fine) that didn't use the same network as my card. It wasn't a problem because there was another one near by, but it did cause some distress to several of my fellow travelers.
