Tanzania temperatures in June
My husband and I are travelling to Tanzania at the end of June and will be hiking Kilimanjaro and doing a safari through the northern game parks. Can anyone give us an idea of how cold it could get on Kili both at night and during the day (especially at the higher altitudes)? And how warm will it be at the lower elevations? Also, how muddy might it be on the Machame route in late June? Finally, what temperatures should we expect during the day and at night and early mornings on safari?

Found a site with current weather conditions: http://http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/TZ_cc.html and here's a general one with forecasts:
http://www.wunderground.com/global/TN.html
Also check some of the operators web sites - you'll see some of them have information on weather conditions.
Have you shared your itinerary? That may help people answer your question as to morning temps and evening temps.

Mid-day temps will be mild on safari and lower levels of Kili - the mid- to hi-60s. Nites will be cool on safari, maybe as low as 50. On the mountain it will be downright cold at higher elevations.
Mud... who knows. If there has been rain, there can be mud anywhere.

Boston Gal wrote an incredible report on her climb with lots of details that should be required reading before climbing -

And, I believe you may find some more - check out the East Africa Trip Report Index:

Hope this helps!

The temps on Kili are cold but not unbearable. The first night the temps get close to freezing but even on summit night it was maybe -5 to -10 celsius. The daytime temps seem to vary by the hour depending on whether the sun is out or not but you should use the strongest sunblock you have as you will burn fast.
