I assume you're talking about Tanzania... The Tanzania Meteorological Agency's website hasn't been updated since 2006, so that's of no use. There is always the usual sites: www.wunderground.com and www.weather.com for historical information and 10 day forecasts. Ndutu Lodge (in the southern Serengeti) has some weather information on their website: www.ndutu.com.

My guess is weather thesedays is very unpredictable - even Africa. Southern Africa for example is having an extremely wet season and there are some continuous drizzly days - unlike the traditional evening thunderstorms etc etc.,

Weather is unpredictable these years. February is one of the "summer" months with daytime temps warm to hot, cooler evenings/mornings and should be dry.
However, there has been some rain in/around the crater areas - Olmoti and Empakaai and showers elsewhere.
When you think of it, do you believe the weatherman at home? Sometimes, but more often not! Even with their degrees, machines and maps...
You just have to be prepared for the unusual and hope that the weather will be usual.
