We are 60's Canadian couple, active, good shape. Looking for 25-30 day tour of South African countries. Would like to see a lot, not stay in one park for 5 days as some tours do, hikes and walks instead of constant sitting in a jeep. Semi luxury (do not wish to sleep on the ground), good, safe food essential. What would be the best tour company to approach? Thanks.

Follow up: Southern Africa countries. Open to all suggestions. Not sure if we want a structured tour, nor to get up super early. Is a personal tour guide possibl?

Would you be open to renting a vehicle for at least part of this period? Also, what time of year are you contemplating?

I wouldn’t say a personal guide as that would be very expensive but book it that transfers are included and then everything else is included in the lodges etc.
cape Town is super easy to get around so that would be easy.
