Sahara Desert Tour/Trek & Marrakech in early Sept.
A good friend of mine is hosting me in Marrakech for two weeks (early September)and thinking I'd like to check/photograph the Kasbahs, get a glimpse of the desert and the villages and it's people. Split my time somewhat, between Marrakech and get outside into the country.
Will the heat be unbearable? I checked the weather during September and saw the range from 75 - 90 degrees.
Single traveler, looking for advice on how much time I should consider for the Sahara Desert Tour/Trek AND time in Marrakech. Addition if I can make the arrangements prior or when in Marrakech?
Not sure how much I should budget the part to the desert and Atlas Mountains so could use advice. I know I don't want to be in a van without Air condition and probably like a semi-private tour... but that might be too expensive. And I've discovered many tour agencies won't take a single traveler.
