Londolozi Founders superior chalet or Varty normal chalet?

Which of these lodges has the more luxurious rooms? The plunge pool sounds nice at Varty but I heard the rooms are a bit tired looking. However, the pictures of Varty rooms look nicer on the web site than the Founders rooms. We can get a superior at Founders or a normal at Varty and I'm really torn in deciding. Pros and cons of each woud be appreciated. THe rooms are important to me....

I stayed at Londolozi Tree Camp and it was incredible. All Londolozi Camps are fabulous, especially after the takeover from CCAfrica

Hi there

I had to smile at your comment "the rooms are important to me...". I love a nice room - especially if I pay good money. (I might just add that I'm quite happy to stay in a tent as well, depending on circumstances.)
Personally I would go for the superior at Founders - I stayed there in June (a superior room at Founders) and it was really gorgeous - I loved the old world type decor; the bathroom was huge and well-appointed; the plunge pool and deck was just GREAT! Maybe I can just add that the food is FANTASTIC and the staff really makes your visit unforgettable. Londolozi also has extremely ethical conservation values.

Kind regards

I agree with Yolande, if the room is important to you, go with the Superior room at Founders. Tree Camp and Private Granite Suites at Londolozi are also fantastic, but they cost more.
