We will be at Kwetsani on June 8 -10. If you can wait that long I will let you know how it was. We will be backin the US on June 18.

Julian from timelessafrica arranged my zimbabwe trip last year. recommended the camp (which was outstanding and my favorite), arranged hotels, road transfers and flights. everything went off without a hitch or glitch. he also booked my malamala stay for this year. I give him two thumbs up and would use him again.

We planned a very similar trip this July/August. We used Premier Tours and worked with Julian. Although we have not taken the trip yet, we have been very satisfied up to date. We are also staying at the Cape Grace and Singita. We chose Vumbura Plains in Botswana on his recommendation. Hope this helps. Will keep you posted on trip when we return.

Napamatt, thanks for your info re Vumbura, that's good to know! I hadn't realised it had been a hunting concession recently before my visit - we chose it as we wanted one water camp and back then, that's how it was being marketed. It was perfect for that!

Kavey

On one of our drives, we stopped for morning coffee at a lagoon with a platform, which was actually the old hunting camp.

I am pleased that Timeless Africa is such a good recommendation.

May I add another great option in Janice Mc Arthur who manages Greenlife's (www.e-gnu.com)arrangements for Botswana and southern Africa.

I know that they can do wonders with availability, offer excellent rates and top notch service.

I was'nt sure about Duba Plains when I visited last year. When I think back, it is probably the most trilling encounter I had in all my time in Africa.

The Greenlife team are receptive, intuitive and work a personalized solution without necessarily favoring a particular brand.

My thumbs up for them.

Moremiles,
At first I thought GDKSS was one of those web acronyms that I know only a few of. Good Kiss, Goodnight Kiss? When I scrolled up I figured it out.

Lifetime,
My exact feeling re: Duba Plains. Absolutely thrilling. I hope it continues when the Duba boys no longer reign.
