Enjoying your trip report...anxiously awaiting your Kwando sightings as we leave in less than three weeks...any advice/info you can offer is also appreciated...I'm sure Hari is tired of hearing from me! Many thanks!

Lisa,
I am looking forward to the rest of your report!! I grew up in South Africa but last visited some 12 years ago. I am now thinking of taking my teenage daughters back to see my country, and was wondering whether December/January would spoil it. As a local we only ever used to go to the Kruger Park in winter, but school terms and husband's job means it will have to be December 2008/ January 09.I know it sounds a long way off, but I believe Kruger gets quickly booked out during the school holidays so we will probably have to book this Christmas - hence I have started planning. I have never visited Botswana and would love to read your report, and perhaps some ideas on comparison with Kruger.
Please .... keep it coming.

Have been buried at work and am just now emerging to a lovely spring here in Washington DC, everything blooming and the flowering cherry trees are stunning...

Sorry for being so remiss in updating anything. Am still working on getting all our pics up. Look at http://homepage.mac.com/lisaandmarkt...rica-botswana/

And I will try to get some wild dog pics up.
