Julian: You back from Botswana?

Hi Julian,

Just curious. Can't wait to get an update from you about the dogs and where they are denning etc etc.,

Hari

Hari, I was thinking the same thing yesterday. I can't WAIT to hear all about Julian's trip and see his photos and I was just thinking he MUST be back or due back imminently!

Julian, please check in!

Julian,

I am eagerly awaiting your report and your photos.

I guess you had a superb safari.

Greetings,

Johan

Hello everyone,

Yes, I'm back...returning from Africa is always hard, and more so when landing in the middle of a record-breaking English heat wave. My friends here find it absolutely riotous that it was cooler in Africa than it is in Oxford...

Right now I'm in the grips of a lot of catch-up work at the hospital and coping with the nasty cold virus I picked up in Africa (fortunately it waited until the last day of my trip to really kick in). I'll try to start posting my trip report this weekend...the photos will take a bit longer, as I've run out of space on my hard drive and need to buy an external drive to free up some room before I can upload the files from my Epson P-4000 and thence to the web.

Cheers,
Julian

Welcome back Julian! Sorry to hear you got bit by the "wrong" bug in Africa. Anxious to hear all about it when you have time. Feel better soon!

Yes, the heat IS horrible isn't it? I'm working from home - no A/C and hard to concentrate.

Sorry to hear you've come back feeling unwell - hope that clears up soon.

Looking forward to report (and pictures when you're able).
