Leely - No I didn't even think of it - I was so shamelessly trying to latch onto her Botswana trip next year! I will urge her to do so!

Kavey - Not so much an Ab Fab gal, but in all seriousness I LOVE Helen Mirren's Prime Suspect and Det. Lyndley!

No, I never got into Ab Fab at all but so many did and it was so popular worldwide too...

I'd be lost (and probably would have totally lost my sanity)without the British programming and the BBC news.

Inspector Moss*, Prime Suspect* and Det.Linley any day over The Donald and soon to be "Martha" show! Ugh!

* for that matter, anything with John Thaw and/or Helen Mirren.

Julian,

What do you think? Do ATR conduct the same 'screening tests' than those described in the 'Licence to Guide' book for the Londoz guides?

As said, there are high unemployment in Africa, and I was told that part of the money I paid would be used to employ a local to work in the camp. It is a way so that the locals don't feel we are competing jobs with them. I think it is a good idea.

And honestly, I don't think the lodges really need any help at all but I would think if one likes a place, he would surely want others to share. I will ask the owner when I am there.
