Canoe trips near Victoria Falls??

I would love to go canoeing on the Zambezi River while I am in the Victoria Falls (Zambia) area. My TA didn't know of any companies that do that.

Do any of you know if this is something I can do, and where to look for it. I am going to be there early June, so white water rafting is not an option then I understand.

I am not sure if the sunset cruise is worthwhile, any thoughts on that??

thanks
amy

That company cares for a lot but also takes visitors to the Lion encounter.

Before you decide on doing that you should read the thread here:

I saw a few elephants in the sunset on the sunset cruise Zambezi raft crusie. It was nice, relaxing, very nice scenery, a few snacks, and I believe some wine. But we just sat in the raft and did not paddle or steer.

Here is something that offers a half day canoe trip.

You have enough time for a full day? Make sure you allow a few hours to wander around the falls at your own pace. There are many activities that can be done at the falls if you are interested so leave enough time for those too.

-Aerial viewing
-bungee jumping
-viewing falls from Zimbabwe
-I went to a croc farm once

But I'd do a day in a canoe, and a half day looking at the falls.

Have fun!
