Ali Babba and Fatima's Desert Pictures!
Well, I finally got my pictures together from our Sahara Desert adventure in Morocco. This is my first time posting photos on the internet. Hope the link works okay. My trip report that goes along with the photos "desert trip details" is nearly finished.

Thanks for your photos! Very lovely!
May I ask a question regarding temps in the desert? What did you need for the nights? A fleece? Padded jacket?
I'll be there late May and was thinking maybe it wouldn't be THAT could at night out in the desert - but I'm still wary of being under prepared clothes wise.
Thanks!

Thanks for the nice compliments.
JannaG- it was very chilly in the desert at night and in the morning. I would guess around 45 F degrees as a low. I was definately not prepared but managed by wearing a tank top, tee shirt and thin long sleeved hoodie (wearing the hood). I wished I had warmer clothes. My husband wore a fleece and was still a little chilly because of the wind. We were both fine sleeping because they provided plenty of blankets. Someone had suggested taking thermal underwear, I think that would be a good idea.

Thanks for your reply. My tour probably won't be as luxe as yours as I'd be with a backpacker's group and they encourage us to bring a sleeping bag. I'm not keen on a carting along sleeping bag for just one night in the desert so will probably bring thermal underwear like you suggested.
Anyway, thanks again for your great report and pictures.
