Fodor's Review:

You can eat like a king at paupers' prices at this intimate 50-seat restaurant inside the Art Institute of Philadelphia. On Wednesday and Thursday the four-course lunch is $15; the six-course dinner, $30. The menu changes weekly, depending on what's fresh in the market and what inspires the culinary arts students and instructors. Through a large picture window, you can see and hear them at work.

Serve the Lady First from the left

Posted by Rick from Virginia Beach, VA on 4/17/06

Just back and had a good experience. The food was inventive, place interesting, decor better than expected. You must understand that they do not have a waitstaff. The duty is a rotation of the chefs in training. There was a discussion at our table as to who gets served first, and from what direction. If you are open minded, it's a fun experience. By the way, the price has risen to 30$ per person, cash only. Still, six courses of good food for the price of an entree elsewhere is a bargain.
