This long-running establishment on Canyon Road represents a remarkable group of Native American ceramics artists doing primarily nontraditional work. Diverse artists include Glen Nipshank, whose organic, sensuous shapes would be right at home in MoMA, and Diego Romero, whose Cochiti-style vessels are detailed with graphic-novel-style characters and sharp social commentary. It is a treat to see cutting-edge work that is clearly informed by indigenous traditions.
