Homosassa Springs

A little more than an hour north of Clearwater, you’ll come upon this small and friendly hub for water lovers. Along with a phenomenal manatee-centric state park, you’ll find more than a handful of charming restaurants, some featuring live music in the evening. This and Crystal River provide you with the once-in-a-lifetime chance to swim with manatees, something best done in winter. Summer’s scallop season is also a massive draw.
