Each of Las Culebrinas's four old-school eateries tends to draw throngs of adoring diners for Spanish tapas and decent Cuban steaks, but the Coral Gables location is by far the best. Tapas here are not small; some are entrée portions, like the frisbee-size Spanish tortilla (omelet). Our suggestion: indulge in a tender fillet of fresh fish, or the grilled pork stuffed with mashed bananas, followed by a dessert of Crema Catalana, caramelized at your table with a blowtorch.
