Osmosis Day Spa Sanctuary Review
The signature treatment at this locally popular spa is a traditional Japanese detoxifying bath. You'll slip into a deep redwood tub filled with damp cedar shavings and rice bran that are naturally heated to 140° F by the action of enzymes. Attendants bury you up to the neck and throughout the 20-minute session bring sips of water and place cool cloths on your forehead. After a shower, you can lie down and listen to brain-balancing music through headphones or have a massage, perhaps in one of the creek-side pagodas. Facials and other treatments are also available. Reservations are recommended.
