The much-hyped first restaurant from Top Chef finalist Brian Malarkey opened in summer 2010 and has maintained its buzz ever since, attracting patrons with its fun urban decor and experimental dishes like mahi-mahi with drunken cherries; and beef coulotte with chimichurri and bernaise. The flavor combinations are mostly successful, particularly when paired with comfort-food sides like bacon grits and fried brussels sprouts.
