Café Chloe

Café Chloe Review

The intersection of 9th and G is now the meeting point for San Diego's café society, thanks to the superchic and friendly Café Chloe. Surrounded by luxury high-rises, hotels, and boutiques, this pretty, Parisian spot is frequented by the area's residents for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. Start the day with whole-wheat pancakes and sour-cherry sauce; lunch on smoked trout and apple salad or a casserole of macaroni, pancetta, and Gorgonzola; or enjoy duck confit or steak frites for dinner. Enjoy wines by the glass, imported teas, and coffee with desserts like seasonal fruit tarts or chocolate pot de crème. It's a lovely place to spend the afternoon.

My husband and me spent just three days in SD, but we visited this place twice for breakfast. We loved it! It's aside from the tourists trails, cool and lovely french atmosphere, delicious food, hip crowd, great service... I would say this is the best place in SD with moderate prices! Highly recommended.
