This stylish eatery kicked off a renaissance on its colorful namesake street. Vaulted ceilings, Persian rugs, and fresh flowers make the interior graceful and inviting. The modern menu starts with the likes of crab cakes with mustard-lemon aïoli, or duck salad with ginger-soy vinaigrette, then moves on to crispy whitefish with basil sauce, flatiron steak with a fiery peppercorn sauce, and vegetarian risotto. Well-suited for quiet business lunches, vermont becomes lively during dinner. An alluring lounge adjoins the restaurant attracting everyone from Armani-clad studio suits to bohemian artists.
