Services

Most hotels have air-conditioning and flat-screen cable TV. Those in the moderate and expensive price ranges often have coffeemakers, bathrobes, and hair dryers. Most also have high-speed Internet access in guest rooms, with a 24-hour use fee (though at a number of hotels, it’s free). Wi-Fi is common even at budget properties. Southern California’s emphasis on being in shape means most hotels have fitness facilities; if the one on-site is not to your liking, ask for a reference to a nearby sports club or gym.
