Fodor's Review:
The iconic "Pink Palace" has been steeped in Hollywood lore since 1912. Greta Garbo, Howard Hughes, and other movie-industry guests kept low profiles when staying at this pastel landmark, while other film luminaries, notably Cecil B. DeMille, cut very visible deals in the Polo Lounge, which still makes a fantastic reservations-are-a-must lunch destination.
