A sleek, industrial space of exposed brick, spun-wire lamps, and charcoal-color upholstery gives a suitably chic backdrop to this global food bar. Throughout the menu, ingredients are allowed to shine without being overworked, as in the Japanese-style tuna salad with Asian pear, avocado, and spicy ponzu dressing; the fried calamari with pineapple slaw and caramelized peanut sauce; and the showstopping 32-ounce rib eye with chimichurri. Wash it down with clever cocktails like the Jake Gin-enhaal with jasmine-infused gin and a house-made grape syrup.
