Fodor's Review

Duck out of a double-feature at the TIFF Bell Lightbox to grab a meal at Luma. Echoing the Lightbox's artistic nature, this restaurant plays with global flavors and mostly Canadian ingredients. Within the bustling glass-paneled film festival and film education venue, the restaurant is a mini oasis on the second floor complete with a patio overlooking the lively Entertainment District and the CN Tower. But the star attraction is Jason Bangerter's delectable dishes, and

his commitment to sustainable seafood. Try the crispy calamari coated in rice puffs with candied lemon peel or roasted Vidalia onion salad with blue cheese and pine nuts, and finish on a sweet note with a cheesecake parfait of goat's cheese, lavender-infused filo pastry, and macerated strawberries.
