Ali Baba Review

This is the spot for takeout roast chicken, falafel, hummus, and other Middle Eastern/Lebanese dishes, at modest prices.

    Ali Baba Review

Basically, Alibaba´s was a complete rip off. They claimed to have a special offer, yet after we ate they told us that this offer was only valid if you took the food out. the food was good, but the portions are rather small. For example, if you order hummus you have to order bread separately. (not real pita bread!! more or less a small tortilla, not even worth it!). Tax is not included so you pay even more and while eating they try to hard sell drinks and shishas for 20 BZD. Other customers as well as the staff smoke while you are eating, there is no designated smoking area. Weird techno music, unfriendly staff, unpleasant experience! There are much better choices on the island.

    Ali Baba Review

Just had supper there and their Lamb Kabob was great, the shrimp small and just so so. We also had the Lebanese Chicken which was tasteless and dry. As for the appetizers, the hummus was good, however the portion was small, not nearly enough pita (which we had to keep ordering) but thumbs up for the French Fries. I found it quite annoying that almost everything we tried to order was unavailable. The proprietor was very pushy and continually doubling our order (We were a group was two adults and 3 kids) "you need two of those" and when I ordered a single items, they came out doubled. I frequent Middle Eastern restaurants in LA and NYC and I must say this was the worst!

    Ali Baba Review

This place is awesome! Ali Baba truly is a one-stop-shop. It was not dirty when we were there, and the food was great! Their rum punch is also very good. The owner is very nice and always has a smile on his face (Billy). Also if you haven't tried their hookah, it's a must.... They have every flavor you can think of, and I don't think I need to go into any further details.

    Ali Baba Review

This was the filthiest restaurant I have ever been in. There was a layer of black grime all over everything. Their menus were oily and dirty.

I cannot tell you the quality of the food because, after seeing the condition of this place, we decided not to eat here. I simply did not trust that their kitchen was clean.

The owner was very pushy, insisting that I buy a more expensive meal even after I said no. He paced constantly about the restaurant, asking us to buy other items in their "one stop shop" stand.

The only bad experience during my trip to San Pedro.
