Lancashire and the Peaks Restaurants

Matou

Matou Review

Expansive views of the historic waterfront are joined by the scent of Eastern spices at this popular spot on the second floor of the Mersey Ferry Terminal. The menu sticks to pan-Asian classics, such as Thai green curry, Malaysian lamb satay, and rib-eye steak in a black-bean sauce. Within a swoop of the Royal Liver birds, the terrace is a winner in warmer weather. Contemporary dark-wood furnishings sit beside huge slanting windows in the dining room.
