Seifried Estate
Seifried Estate Review
Seifried Estate is a 20-minute drive from Nelson's main center, on the way to Motueka. Hermann Seifried was one of Nelson's modern-day pioneer winemakers and now the large family-run winery produces fresh, zippy sauvignon blanc, a creamy chardonnay, a decidedly tasty riesling, and a lush pinot noir. The restaurant next door to the tasting room is open every day for lunch in summer and Thursday to Sunday in winter; reservations are recommended.
