Fodor's Review:

In the light of a full moon the waterfall in the garden sparkles while waterfowl play. The lobby is narrow and long, with comfortable gray armchairs against fading red carpeting. The Fujita has Japanese and Scandinavian decor throughout, and 18 rooms have Japanese-style furnishings. Not far from the nightlife center of Gion, this pleasant yet pricey hotel is along the Kamo-gawa.
