Roosevelt Prime Steakhouse (Luósīfú dĭngjí níupaíguăn) Review

Located in the historic Marshall Mansion—which was built in 1920 and takes its name from one-time Secretary of State George Marshall—Roosevelt offers excellent cuts of meat in a clubby steakhouse ambience. The meat is USDA Prime, cooked to your specification in an imported stone oven. These steaks are not cheap, ranging in price from Y300 up to Y1,200, though regular main dishes are more reasonable. Try the mac and cheese with black truffles or the excellent Caesar salad.

    Roosevelt Prime Steakhouse Review

For a Chicago Boy who grew up around the Loop to find the best USDA Prime steaks even if at some super-high prices is heaven in Shanghai for me and the boyz. I cannot tell you why one would spend a Benji on a steak but one bite will answer this question...why are you here in China working our tail off away from home if one cannot enjoy some of that downhome joy??? Spend it as coffins don't have wallets! Fantastic and no regrets here!
