Zipline Adventure in Kauai

I just read that a zipline activity is starting in Kauai in early March. Has anyone done this recently or heard about it? I will be in Kauai from March 13-22nd and would like to do it, if it is as good as the ziplines in Costa Rica.

I read in 101 things to do in Kaui that a company I think by the name of Outfitters Kaui is doing the zipline now. They even have a picture on the front of the magazine of someone doing it. To do just the zipline and hiking is I think arounc $79 pp.for 3 hours. If you want to do the 6 hour zipline, hike, kayak, swim etc package it is $129 pp. My husband and I are going in October and plan to do it. If you need more info let me know and I can bring the magazine to work that has the web address etc. It looks like lots of fun.

I am not positive on this, but I think there was a posting awhile back on this zipline company. Do a search and check. The owner was responding to some questions, if I remember correctly.

There are now 2 companies offering the zipline adventure -- at 2 different locations here on Kaua`i. Tom's Barefoot has photos, descriptions, and pricing for each.

Had friends visiting from the mainland who just did the northshore one last month and _raved_ about it. These are ladies in their 50's -- they were terrified, but said they'll do it again next visit!
