Where can we shower?

On the day we fly home, we get to Maui from Kauai at 10 am with our flight to Canada not leaving until 8 pm. Can anyone suggest where we could shower prior to going to the airport? We'd love to spend the day at the beach but it isn't likely unless we can shower before getting on the plane! Thanks,

I wonder if one of the hotels would have a fitness center where you could buy a day pass?

Oh, Baldwin Beach, which is very close to the airport, has showers.

I'm no expert on Maui, but beaches/parks (i know of 2 locations along Waikiki) often have areas with snack stands, picnic areas, restrooms, and outdoor showers.

Thanks, guys, for responses - I guess I was thinking of a hotel or something clean. The only negative thing I have to say about Maui is that the public washrooms/showers are always so dirty! What I was wondering was whether there was a hotel that allows pool privileges for the day (with a price of course).

Obviously this isn't 1st hand information, but I typed in: "hotels with day pass on Maui" into a Google search and a list of resorts popped up.

I don't know what it would cost, but an alternative might be to change your Kauai flight to later in the day and forgt the beaches in Maui. Ten hours is a really long layover. They fly planes around those islands all day long. I'd just stay on the Plantation Island and shorten your commute. Kauai is really nice. Just a thought, eh?

Decide which is more important - taking a swim on your last day, using what may be dirty change rooms on the beach, or letting the salt water and gritty sand go with you until your next shower at home.
